I’ve only had this plunger water filter for about a week, but so far it’s been working great! The setup took a little time, but once everything was in place, it’s been a breeze to use. I’ll come back later and update my review after I’ve had more time with it, but my first impression is very positive. I’ve only had this plunger water filter for about a week

Exactly what I needed

Exactly what I needed. I wanted to DIY but also wanted to buy pieces I can trust to not be bad quality since it’s hard to do via Amazon and even Home Depot. My tub is 1/2 inch so I had to get a reducer but seems to be working well. I put all of this into a cheap deck box with the filter hanging on the outside. Power strip inside so it’s basically a box I can move with a single cord for my inflatable tub.

Cold plunge tested

I bought this filter sometime ago for my cold plunge and set it up outside. The installation was very easy and painless. I installed this cartridge filter after the the pump so particles won’t go through the water chiller. The value of these filters is very good, I leave the in-water pump on 24/7 and change filter cartridges monthly to keep my cold plunge totally clean and clear.

Save time and money!

This kit saved me so much headache and procrastination. Comes with easy to read instructions and has pictures! To top it all off though it comes with immediate support and response from the plunge crafters team.
I ran into a couple of snags with not aligning the bulkheads to the hole properly (rushing) and got immediate help from Nathan. I also bought the light kit and was having an issue getting it to fit and again Nathan was super quick to coach me through it.

Outstanding Upgrade Kit

Plunge Crafters responded to a question I posted on a Cold Plunge DIY FB group about upgrading my cold plunge setup. They recommended a kit that added a full house filter, high flow Danner pump, ozone generator and 3/4" plumbing. Since it wasn't the setup Plunge Crafters was designed for, I needed to modify it to suit my Ice Barrel 500 and 1/2 HP chiller. Easy to install ozone venturi

I bought this venturi with the Plunge Crafter ozone unit and water filter for my cold plunge setup, and it's worked out great. The 3/4" barbed connections made easy to install with 3/4" flexible PVC spa house. I heated up the spa hose in warm water and then slipped it onto venturi. Once it cooled I didnt even need a hose clamp. Overall I have been really pleased with all the parts I picked up to build out my cold plunge water filter assembly..

No. This kit provides the pump, filtration, ozone equipment and plumbing needed to connect a compatible tub to a water chiller. The tub, chiller and insulated cover are sold separately.

Will this kit fit my chiller?

Do I need glue or primer?
