Cold Plunge 5 inch x 2.5 Inch Water Filters

I’ve only had this plunger water filter for about a week, but so far it’s been working great! The setup took a little time, but once everything was in place, it’s been a breeze to use. I’ll come back later and update my review after I’ve had more time with it, but my first impression is very positive. Also, the customer service has been excellent.. very responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with!

I bought this filter sometime ago for my cold plunge and set it up outside. The installation was very easy and painless. I installed this cartridge filter after the the pump so particles won’t go through the water chiller. The value of these filters is very good, I leave the in-water pump on 24/7 and change filter cartridges monthly to keep my cold plunge totally clean and clear.

We are having an issue with sediment in our water, these filters did a great job filtering out the sediment and restoring water pressure. They are easy to install into our existing filtration system.

This is a package of four water filters for inline units. These are 10"X2.5", which is what my Culligan system takes. Some units are designed for 2" diameter, so make certain this is what you need before ordering. The filter particles as small as 50 microns, which is what the original filters claimed to do. They have the rubbery gasket ends to make a positive seal in the filter housing. The filter material seems durable and the overall quality is very decent. These are basic filters in that they are designed only to trap particulates. They are not for taste or odor issue, and may not trap soft flowing iron as well as a filter designed specifically for those tasks.

My home has a water catchment system. The rain water collected from the roof is stored in a large cistern. This stored water is then pumped through the house plumbing network for all the sinks, showers, toilets, etc. Integrated into the water system is a filter that catches and removes sediment from the water before that water enters the house.These filters need to be replaced regularly and I have always used the same type of filter the previous owner used. I’ve been happy with the results. When I saw these pleated-type filters, I thought I’d give them a try. I’m completely satisfied with the performance. The universal size of these filters accurately fit the filter housing, resulting in a fast and easy filter change. The filters effectively filter the sediment while not compromising the water pressure to the fixtures. I’m sold on these pleated-type filters and will now use them in the future.

I purchased these water filters for our ice machine filter, which I bought from a major name brand store, but which longer sells the filters. These filters are perfect size and fit perfectly. They were the exact same type as the original filter that came with our commercial ice machine. And the value of purchasing four in the 4-pack, made this a very good value for the money. They are well made. And I like the fact that each is individually wrapped, so I don't have to worry about shelf life issues. They come in a very convenient box for storage purposes, which I appreciate. They offer perfect functionality, produce clear water, and do not have any obvious defects that would cause them to leak. All in all, I am 100% satisfied with these filters, would buy them again, and would recommend anyone seeking a 10" x 2.5" water filter. They simply do exactly what they are supposed to do; ie: what you'd expect them to do.

These replacement filters fit our whole house water filter system perfectly. Installation was easy, and they work just as expected. Great quality and no issues with leaks or compatibility. Very satisfied with the performance so far!

I have a Kinetico whole house system and I've been buying my filters from them until I found these and thought I'd give them a try. Unwrapping them, they look identical to the ones I used before, even the same color and seem to be a direct replacement. Since I just received them, I can't comment on longevity for a few months, but I don't see why they won't last just as long and cost way less.

CONS: None.PROS: See through. Filter wrench.Additional Thoughts: I have several of these for my reverse osmosis system and my rain tote irrigation system but my irrigation drippers still got clogged. Turns out, every now and then I have to prime my pump and I noticed I was using dirty water after my filters to do it. That was pushing the dirty water out to the drippers so I put this filter in after the pump to catch all the debris I inadvertently put in the system. I like the clear canister so I can see how used the filter is getting. This is my first canister with a pressure relief button on top. Be ready to get wet if you push that button! Before I got this item, I went to a big box store and bought their whole house filter canister wrench and boy did it do a terrible job, it didn't fit the canisters very well so it was hard to use. The wrench that this comes with fits the canister well and makes tightening it much easier. I recommend this.LovingTheRetiredLife

Well made water filter, but not as convenient as some that have the cutoff valve built in, saving you from having to install a bypass circuit to be able to change filters. I got this one for a water based parts washer to help keep the fluid clean for longer change intervals, so it's not a problem for me. I have the GE brand installed in my house & they have a cutoff/filter/bypass lever on the side to facilitate filter changes.

This is the perfect size for my home cold plunge. It is designed well and I have had low noise and no leaks. For the price this is good value on the canister and filter combo. It functions great and was easy to mount and change the filter. I would recommend this. Thank you.
