If your first generation Plunge has no water flow, the problem is almost always one of two parts: the original DC pump or the external power supply that feeds it. This kit eliminates both. The Danner Aqua-Mag 1200 runs on standard 110v household power and plugs straight into a GFCI outlet, so there is no DC converter left in the system to fail.

Installation

This is a basic hand tool job, no electrician required. Disconnect the original pump and power supply, plumb the Danner 1200 in-line using the included unions, elbow, pipe, and flex hose, then plug the pump into a 110v GFCI protected outlet. The two piece unions create disconnect points on both sides of the pump, so any future service takes minutes instead of a full re-plumb. You will need PVC primer and cement plus thread seal tape to complete the install. Wrap all threaded connections with thread seal tape before assembly to prevent leaks.
