No glue, no primer, no cure time. The Quick Connect Kit plus an Active Aqua chiller is the fastest way to build a stock tank cold plunge that holds 39°F: most installs take about an hour, and you fill the tub the same day. The Active Aqua connections for your chiller size are in the box.

Why quick connect

Glued PVC is permanent, which is a problem the day you want to change the layout, move the tub or store it for winter. Quick connect fittings release by hand and the clamped hose loosens with a screwdriver, so the system comes apart and goes back together without cutting. Same trusted components as our Complete kit:

Which chiller size should you choose?

Most stock tank builders want the 1/2 HP. Go 1 HP if the chiller sits somewhere over 85°F, several people plunge daily, or the tub is over 150 gallons.

Outdoors, an insulated cover does more for run time than a bigger chiller.

What you still need

A tub. Rubbermaid 100 or 150 gallon stock tank, or any tub with a flat wall up to 1 1/2 inches thick, up to about 300 gallons. Tubs with 1/2 inch ports need a reducer.
An insulated cover (optional, recommended outdoors). We will offer the matching size after you choose your chiller.
A GFCI protected 120V outlet. Standard home GFCI outlet
Tools: drill, 1 3/4 inch hole saw, PVC hose cutter, screwdriver, channel-lock pliers. 2 screws to mount filter housing.

How the install goes

Drill two 1 3/4 inch bulkhead holes and install the bulkheads.
Mount the filter housing either on handle of 100 gal Rubbermaid stock tank or wall behind plunge
Cut the flex hose to your layout and clip the fittings together, with ball valves on each side of the tub.
Thread the included Active Aqua connections onto the chiller and connect the ozone line.
Fill plunge with water, plug into a GFCI outlet, press Boost, check the connections.
